Just got home from errands. Loved the snow, but the melt off stinks. Everything is wet and sloppy. Fortunately, this stage doesn't last long.

More snow tomorrow and with a big melt off next week. I haven't seen my street in two weeks.

We only got a trace last night.

I don't want it to melt off my grass.

If there is better weather than 20 degrees, almost no wind, and fairly heavy snow, I am not aware of it.

Got another 3-4" of fluffy powder on Smoky Hill Ridge today. Snowbank at the foot of the driveway is roughly 4' tall right now. Gonna take a while for that sucker to melt.

A cell phone pic of the skylight in my daughter's bedroom last night. Tonight it is just covered in snow.

If I were you, I would shovel that on to the grassy areas in the yard as opposed to having it melt into the street. (I could be wrong. Maybe it doesn't make a difference).

Coming home from an out-of-town athletic event was a treat yesterday. There were quite a few spun-out vehicles along the way, including one car that ended up perpendicular to traffic. Crazy woman got out of her car and stood in the middle of the icy road waving her arms at the on-coming traffic! Other than that, though, most drivers were conscientious and took it slow...UNTIL we got back to Denver. Traffic picked up and drivers lost their minds, weaving between lanes on snow-packed, icy roads at unsafe speeds. It was insane, and I was greatly relieved to pull in the driveway safe & sound around six.

It does make a difference especially if you aerated and fertilized.
