I'm asking as I recently moved to Stapleton and am curious to see my neighbors opinions of what it takes to enjoy life there for a family. $100K? $200K?
As you know, there's huge variation in housing prices even within Stapleton: Subsidized apartments to the $1.5M tony houses on Beeler and Clinton overlooking Westerly Creek.

I'm building new and will end up with a home price less than 2x my gross annual income, fwiw. I have other things to save for (retirement, even though I'm 33; student loans; 529s for my two kids) and don't want to be house poor.

That said, I do wonder who exactly is buying the Parkwood and Infinity SFHs. Two-high-income families? Overextended? Finance types, who make more than I do (I'm not in finance, for the record)? Time will tell.

The people who can't afford the 1.5M houses in Wash Park, I guess!
