Those references to CVS Pharmacy, comparisons to Walgreens and a link to the CVS website didn't help figure it out?

Really... Walgreens is the same thing. I don't care that there's no CVS here.

Walgreens is red. CVS is blue.

One thing I really dislike about Walgreens is that if something is on sale, it's "Buy 2 for $5" but if you only buy one, it's $2.99. If it's on sale, I should be able to buy the quantity I need, not double that amount. Most stores will mark something as 2 for $5 to encourage you to buy 2 but still only charge you $2.50 if you buy one.

The supermarkets do the same thing all the time. Lots of "4 for $9.00" (say) but only if you buy 4, otherwise each individual unit is either regular or a modified sale price.

One thing that Walgreen's does do that some other places don't is allow you to use manufacturer's coupons on sale items. I've saved lots combining the two.

Back east we had CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreen's. I used to shop at CVS for particular sales but Walgreen's had a couple of stores that were open 24 hours and that won me over.

Now I am close to a couple of Rite Aids and multiple Walgreen's.

I only ever go to Walgreen's and I never even think about CVS.

What supermarket does that? Every supermarket I've ever shopped at when posting a sale price of something like "4 for $9" would charge you that price ($2.25 per 1) no matter how many you bought. The only places I've noticed that only giver you the sale price if you buy the greater number indicated are Walgreens and 7-11.

There used to be a few CVS around but they shut down rather quickly.

IIRC, the Eckerd stores in CO were sold to Walgreens by CVS when Eckerd sold out. In fact, Eckerd had a store under construction in Broomfield (US 287 & Midway) that was re-modeled into a Walgreens before it ever opened as an Eckerd.

CO is one of six states with no CVS stores per CVS pharmacy store locations by state.

My experience too, at least at King Soopers. Walgreen's, no. Kohl's, no, but they don't sell pharmaceuticals.
