Can anyone refer me to a local repair shop - located in the city of Denver - that specializes in Toyotas? Not looking for dealership...I already have a dealership I use for my Corolla, but want to find a good local auto repair shop. I live in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center area, so not interested in driving to a far away suburb. Thanks!

I live in Wash Park and we take our Toyota to Toyexus on Broadway and Exposition. It's close and they have always been fair and done good work.

Toyota's need repair?

Mine is 7 years old, and never been to the shop other than oil changes and new tires

Our 4Runner is 11 years old and has 150,000 miles on it and towed a 16 foot AirStream halfway across the country last summer. It has recently needed new wheel bearings and had a leaking transfer case. Toyexus was good to me on both.

Not Toyota specific but Hotchkiss on east Colfax has been nothing short of an amazing find. They have worked on my Prius and old Infiniti and treat us with respect and honesty. Their shop is not the fancy frills place with coffee and back massages while you wait but you get what you pay for which is great service and honest prices.

Comprehensive Car Care. They only work on Toyota, Honda, and Subaru. I take my Land Cruiser there and from all I've gathered from personal experience and reading their reviews they are straight shooters.

I second Comprehensive Car Car. I only went to them once, but I got a good vibe from them and their prices seemed fair.

However, because it was very close to where I used to live in North Wash Park area, I seemed to mostly take my 1996 Tacoma to Astro Automotive in the Baker District.

I always felt safe with them and they've been in business for a long time. I always felt they were straight with me, had quick turn around times, and good communication.

They do not specialize in Toyotas, but they did a good job on both my 1990 Subaru and my Tacoma, which I no longer have due to something major at 169,000 miles and my mother talking me into starting over with a new Corolla. I wish I had let Astro put a new engine in my old truck sometimes....

Funny. I've never done that. I use the phone and get immediate responses. They definitely seem a bit "old school". Good with cars, maybe not so good with the internet.
