My Virginia Village neighbor's property is 3/4's acre and extends the length of three adjoining (flanked) properties. My backyard butts into the deepest section of his backyard. He wants to sell me this farthest section of his backyard and I really needing advice/suggestions how to do this.

I'm told a lawyer and county surveyor is needed but what else and can I get an easement for this? Does anyone know how much this will cost and can this be done without a lawyer?

Thank you for reading.

All comments/advice appreciated!

Did you want to buy it and make it part of your lot, or do you want to separate lot? Do you need the easement for access?

Isn't Virginia Village in the City and County of Denver? I suggest that you call the zoning office and ask them what you need to do. The surveyor could also draw up whatever documents you need to create a new lot.
