Initially I didn't want to sell anything bc I did buy the things I wanted to take with me within the past 2 months. So I felt that it'd be a waste to get rid of it since I JUST bought it and liked it. Then the opportunity to move to Denver officially came through recently (it was just hypotheticals and whatifs before). So seeing as it would cost me more to bring three things over than to just buy it again I'm going to tough it up and leave them behind. (The desk, although huge and amazing, was only $100, the mattress was $300 and the stand was $40.)

It's kind of sad I didn't think of leaving things behind before posting here. But it makes sense seeing what little I'd be making a fuss over to bring over.

Why would someone buy things while contemplating a cross country move?? I have move long distance 3 times and the process is never fun so why complicate it with more stuff - especially if the stuff isn't unique??

If you're referring to me buying the desk and stand recently, that's due to my old desk being passed on to a relative and I got tired of stacking my tv on a cheap coffee table. At that time the move was all talk, nothing confirmed nothing set. So why hold off on replacing things for a move that wasn't even a reality at that moment in time. If I had known then I'd be moving I clearly wouldn't have made the purchases lol
