Hello everyone!,
I am moving next month to Denver, Co and I would like some general information on the safe areas vs areas to avoid. My job is located near Centennial and I would like to find a place nearby since I am not a big fan of driving.
Which areas would you recommend that are nice to live in?

I am looking for an apartment (1-2 bedrooms)
Quiet places are a plus

Thanks

Centennial is one of the safest suburbs in the country, and if you're going to be working there then I'd recommend living there as well.

Moderator cut: link removed, linking to competitor sites is not ok

Centennial is also quiet and very friendly. It's only 20 minutes to Downtown Denver from most of the area and is close to good shopping and dining options too.

There are plenty of apartment options in Centennial as well, I'd recommend using a website like apartmentfinder.com for this.

Good luck!

You'd have to go out of your way to find trouble within 20 minutes of Centennial.

Centennial is perfectly safe, but find a place very, very close to your work. It's a typical suburb where you have to drive everywhere for your shopping and needs so you'll be doing quite a bit of driving no matter what. Walking is also difficult due to a lack of sidewalks and connections.

From a guy who's been in Denver about one minute. Perhaps you could suggest a location near Centennial for OP?

The southern suburbs are nicer than MOST northern suburbs, Centennial is great same with Englewood and Lonetree.
