Does anyone else smell that sulfur/sewage stench lingering over the Denver metro?

Everyone in our office on the north side of downtown has complained of that smell for a week.

My drive to along Santa Fe smelled that way. My coworker smelled it on his way to work on West 6th Ave.

I even woke up in the middle of the night last week, though I had a gas leak, had Xcel come out, no gas leak... it was the same smell. My house is in north west Littleton.

No idea what you are talking about. Please consider the possibility that you are the one with the gas leak.

Funny, but my coworker smelled it on his drive to work too.

Yea I haven't smelled anything like that on the east side of Denver... Can you smell it now? Or is the stench gone? Could have been something temporary or just endemic to that area (SW Denver)

If it were wintertime, I'd think maybe it was the Greeley stockyards. Weird.

It dawned on me yesterday, that I have smelled this before. When we stayed at a hotel on the west side of Savannah, GA, the whole area, for like 5 miles smelled liked this. Maybe it is industrial or river related.

Just north of Downtown there is at least one meat rendering plant. This is a HORRIBLE smell. Apparently one is the Kasel Pig Ear Factory:

Photos: Five Colorado places that smell worse than the pot smoker next door | Westword

Depending on the prevailing wind, this smell can travel about 5 miles. Sorry if you just bought a $500,000 unit in RINO. Someone should have told you. That smell has been around over 130 years.

With the river running so high, it can flood through various sewage treatment plants. Or at least the extra water tends to push out some foul smelling air out of these places, like the one in Englewood just north of Dartmouth on the Platte River.

The river itself won't bring in pollution or smells, because it's nearly pure snowmelt this time of year.

The smell along South Santa Fe is likely the Englewood Sewage treatment plant.

The smell north of Downtown is usually a distinctly different smell. Further north of RINO is Denver's sewage treatment, but it normally isn't much of an issue.
