For those that have moved to the Denver Metro area from another State since Jan 2014. How much did Colorado having legal marijuana influence your decision to move to Colorado?

Considering that the main reason that a good 90% of people move to another state is because of either job or family I'm not surprised at the status of this poll.

Maybe this will put to rest the idiotic notion that our population growth is heavily tied to legal pot once and for all.

I'm asking waaaaaaay too much aren't I?

Good luck with that! Even my mother called to tell me this after reading an article from CNN that marijuana is the reason Denver is booming. Nothing I said could convince her that the city had a growing economy prior to legalization.

It is the only reason for rising housing costs.

That was my primary motivation for the survey. But I suspect the heavy users are waiting for 4:20 on Saturday to vote.

I doubt people who moved to Colorado for pot hang out on city-data. They have other hobbies.
