My husband headed out 225 to the airport this morning at 10. Highway patrol must have had things under control, because he said there were no delays, and he got there in plenty of time for a noon flight.

I like the forecast. Calling for low 60s by Friday. My folks came into town last Tuesday just in time for the cold and snow. They left this morning and had the great opportunity to experience Monument Hill on their way out of town.

Whoa! That's a lot of snow. Should be a fun morning. Be careful out there.

Ye Olde Weatherman blew this one big time. NWS forecast last night called for 1-2" of snow between 1 and 7am. We're at 7" and still coming down near Southlands. CCSD called the 2nd Snow Day of the year.

On the first day of finals. There was much celebrating from the kid with a Calc exam this morning, until she realized the back up plan is school on Friday.

The hill beside my house is a mess, but the landscaping crew has been through to do the sidewalks. No sign of a city plow, which tells me it must be really bad out there, because we're usually done pretty early.

It was a crazy drive from Castle Rock to the Tech Center. It is amazing how many people still drive like they are bootlegging liquor across state lines even when there is 8" of snow on the ground.

I-70 westbound is now closed at Limon. There was also an accident at I-25 and University. Might be best to work at home today if at all possible.
