Hello All-
Is there an area of Colorado that is known to have exceptional youth sports programs? Especially as it compares to Omaha. We are factoring it in with our possible move.
All sports, kids 11-5, in particular boys soccer. Along with this are there great coaching opportunities?
Thanks.

Default NE to CO, hopefully

We are a young, energetic, community oriented family that is very involved in youth sports. If we make it to Colorado, where would be a good fit for us? I understand that this question might be redundant and vague, but I am looking to hear from people that a certain area pops in there mind.

Depends on what you're looking for. If you want "anyone can join the team" soccer, then they're all the same regardless of neighborhood/community -- Skyline soccer is a good organization. (Stay away from Rapids, they're terrible). The most competitive soccer teams (the kind where you try out for the team) are not necessarily bound by geographic location -- you just need to be prepared to spend a lot of time driving. Storm is known for having a great top-tier program.

I live in central Denver (Congress Park/Cherry Creek area). Most kids play a sport or two and I would characterize it as very competitive. Many of the coaches have played at the Division 1 and/or professional level. Parents tend to devote a lot of time/money/energy to sports activities. But honestly, I think it's probably the same way in any community where the parents have the resources to do so.
