I read on another post that your husband's job will be in Westminster so there are a few soccer clubs on that side of town that you can look into: Westminster Soccer Club, EDGE soccer club, Broomfield Soccer Club, Colorado RUSH Boulder.

Storm. They have a bigger presence in the north metro area, but are expanding into Denver proper. It's a competitive, travel league. Very well run with excellent coaches. Rapids is probably NOT what you're looking for (it's more of a rec league, even the "gold" divisions don't participate in regional tournaments.)

Gold is just one step above the rec level for Rapids Youth Soccer. The truly competitive divisions are Burgundy and Academy.

Yes, but even they are not the cream of the crop of the Colorado soccer world (a world, which to be totally honest, scares me a little bit). Colorado state rankings (and championships) are dominated by Real Colorado, Arsenal, Storm and Rush leagues.
