My son and daughter in law live in the Denver area and struggle financially. My son has to stay at home to take care of their 6 year old son who can't talk and is still in diapers. His wife works full time and he has just got a part time job. Their son goes to school 9-4, and will have Christmas break off. What kind of services are available in the Denver area to care for special needs children? My son needs to keep this job, but if they can't find some kind of caregiver then he'll have to quit! Seems like they are in a catch 22! What services are available to a young couple with a special needs child and they don't have much money??

You have not stated what county you are living. To get help in these situation, you must start with the county social services where you live. They have the resources and information to get you help. These county agencies are the ones who certify you for all types of government benefits.
