For years I have passed by some odd little building on the West side of C470 north of Ken Caryl Ranch. There are 3 or 4 of them and may be pump houses but can't tell.
Also does anyone know the story behind the three story tall light house on Belleview about 1-2 miles west of C470. It is partially hidden by large evergreens and actually works as I have seen it with the light turned on.

I know what you are referring to about the little buildings. I've wondered about them myself.

Aren't they south and not north of Ken Caryl? Just west of 470 and Kipling?

Are these the buildings?

They have something to do with cell phone transmission towers. It was discussed in the Rocky Mountain News a few months ago.

They are cell phone "towers". The carrier was forced to hide the actual equipment. I have a friend who's an urban planner and works for wireless carriers. He does alot of work on designing ways to make the towers more acceptable to municipalities.

Default Odd Buildings On C-470?

Just curious, on C-470, just south of Ken Caryl exit, on the side toward the mountains...there are 4 odd little buildings, definitely not houses. Anyone know what they are?
