So? Castle Rock residents also commute to the Springs.

Everything along the front range is nearly contiguous now. There's a little bit of a break between castle rock and palmer lake/monument area, but it's almost all developed the entire way between the Springs and Ft Collins/Loveland.

Give it 50 years or so, the entire front range will be one giant Los Angeles because people keep moving here and wanting to change it to something else.

Nay-Nay. Palmer Lake just sent a loud mouth california type woman out on a rail because she shoved her way into a townhall meeting and announced she would redevelop our town, adding we could "accept it or move!"
So sorry about Castlerock, but that's what happens when neighbors stop looking out for each other.

I'd tell the Californian woman to go pound sand.

Well, I live in Parker, and you can see the downtown Denver skyline from parts of Parker, so I'd consider it to be a suburb. Castle Rock is about 3 miles south of Parker. Castle Rock is a Denver suburb, IMO.

Without traffic, it's what...maybe 10-15 minutes on I-25 from the outlets in Castle Rock to the Hampden exit? Coming from the south, Hampden & I-25 is kinda the beginning of Denver proper....no? or Yale & I-25

I can see Pikes Peak on my way to work from Broadway. That does not mean I live in Colorado Springs suburbs. It's 75 minutes.

Denver can be found just off Belleview & I-25 - but if living was in Castle Rock and working was CBD. I'd move. Life's too short to spend commuting.

It's about a twenty-five minute drive without traffic. I used to do it all the time.

By this standard, Castle Rock is not a suburb of Denver because you cannot see Denver's downtown skyline from Castle Rock.
