Im moving to West Highlands this week..

I hear their is alot of good food spots to eat...

Coming from NJ/NY I know pizza just wont be the same..and bagels will not be an option.

Sadly no In N Out either..but what are some of the best spots to check out?

Also I saw Highlands Tavern on Diners Drive-ins and Dives...is it that good?

Disagree on bagels not being an option. Rosenberg's is the real deal and they smoke all of their own lox in house.

You must try Linger. It's high-end type dining, but amazing.

And if you're coming from NY/NJ, the Wheat Ridge pizza place will be up your alley. Also, oddly enough, the chain called "Anthony's" is actually good for a reasonable approximation of East Coast pizza. Nothing I would do flips over back in the homeland, but perfectly satisfactory.

I love Rosenberg's but I wish I lived close enough to go during the week. The last time we went on the weekend we stood in line at least 30 minutes just to place our order. Great bagels, though.

They are opening up a new location in the Stanley Marketplace (Aurora/Stapleton line) later this year. Not sure if that's closer to you or not.

Thanks for the info! At least it's another option.

Tonti's Pizza

We order from there a lot. Good pizza indeed.

Parry's Pizza on Lincoln Ave (across from the Colorado Wildlife museum) has good pizza as well. Their wings and mac'n'cheese balls are to die for.
