Default Local Job Boards? Headhunter best option?!?

Need to change career path but looking to stay in sales (particularly outside sales), any suggestions on local job boards or other resources. Monster, Careerbuilder & the likes aren't working very well thus far. Anybody have experience/success with local headhunters/recruiters? Costs associated with this?!? Trying to figure out the best way to get a foot in the door.

I basically had the same question (looking for a local headhunter), but not sure how to find one.

you should never pay a headhunter to find a job on your behalf. They are paid by the client. And yes, I would go that route (I can't think of any offhand who specialize in sales) in addition to the steps you are already taking. Networking however, will be the best way to find any position (and this is coming from a recruiter). I would really establish your network (and enhance it) on sites like Facebook, MySpace or LInkedin if you aren't using these already. Social networking is the way of the future...
