Hey there looking for not the dominos, gas station or 7-11 kind but actual slices. Not the $3 and change most places seem to charge. Any good places to recommend? I trust there are some places around Denver for $1 pizza....

If I am moving from NJ to Denver in the summer like I hope, please let me know if you find any.

I never found any for that price... Costco maybe.

Downtown, Marquis and Sliceworks are your best bet for slices.

Buy a box of frozen pizza, bake at home then slice it so the cost is $1 a slice or less based on the price of the whole pizza. You won't find pizza for $1 a slice anywhere unless you take a time machine back to the 80s.

Hey now, I used to get a slice and a Coke from Pudge Bros for 2 bucks in the early 90s.

But yeah, the OP should pay for a Costco membership or just go to Two Fisted Marios and fork over the $3. That's the going rate.

I would say Costco and Sam's Club come the closest.

Being originally from the Northeast, it's hard to find decent pizza at any price in the Denver area

I dono, but I’m pretty sure that “good” pizza and $1 a slice is an oxymoron. It’s been over 20 years since I had a $1 slice of pizza, and I still remember that it was not good.

Anyway, maybe you can find a gas station selling 29¢ a gallon gas. Then you can afford to drive around and look for the $1 slice of pizza.

No. I lived in CO for decades and never saw pizza slices at $1. There were $1 hot dogs for a special sidewalk sale event somewhere, but even that was at least 20 years ago.

Despite what everyone here is saying, there IS decent $1 pizza. Just not every day.

Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, Anthony's Pizza downtown (on California) has $1 slices between noon and 2 PM. They are good (speaking as an ex-New Yorker), but be prepared to stand on line for 15-20 minutes.
