One crappy house in the neighborhood would not stop me from buying an otherwise great place. I rented a house directly across from a crackhouse for a while. Eventually, as prices around the city went up, hipsters bought it and pushed the crackheads out. Honestly, the crackheads were less annoying.

Basically, Denver is on an uptrend. The rising tide lifts all boats. Situations like that house will not be allowed to persist in otherwise nice neighborhoods. Call the city about the weeds and the trash. Get the ball rolling.

And relax.
