I would also suggest Stapleton, but want to emphasize emm74's point above about budget. Anything below about $525K in Stapleton goes very quickly, and many single family homes below the $450K mark are rentals, so inventory is limited. Agree that the suggestions of Arvada, Westminster and even areas of Commerce City itself would be good places to consider as well.

My husband commuted to Commerce City from our house in Southeast Aurora. There is a back way to get to I-70 which made his commute around 30 minutes. Home are in the $400k range with Cherry Creek Schools, Southlands mall is 10 minutes away. Look at Copperleaf and Tallgrass subdivisions.

We moved here in December. I work south of Commerce City and live in the north Thornton area (Signal Creek). Schools are very good and we like the area
