I didn't know about that.

It must be, although that initiative has been long going on. Especially "screw the out of state students" one.
While I can't blame CU for raising the tuition when state funding has been dwindling, I'm struggling to understand what this sponsorship is going to accomplish.

Ridiculous that a public University is permitted to waste money this way.

Haven't traveled to many European cities eh?

The University receives less than 10% of its funding from the State, which makes it "not so public". However, I don't understand what University is getting from the partnership. I honestly don't think placing advertising on the trains will pay off.

And in some cities there are so many people walking "three blocks with luggage" it was considered a problem for discussion.

Not really sure that applies to walking 3 blocks in Denver.

Have you been to Venice? There are no cars allowed either.

Took the train from 40th and Colorado to DIA. Overall great experience I really like that it drops you off right at the security line. At 5:24am it was fairly packed by the time we got to the airport.

For me this is easier than Uber/Taxi because I don't have to worry about traffic or hauling my ass through the terminal.

How did you get to 40th and Colorado? That's the big traffic question mark for me. Did you leave your car or did you get a ride?

I suppose if I am going during rush hour, I could take an Uber and go up University to Josephine and across at MLK to Colorado.

When I used the train mid-day on Wednesday it wasn't too crowded, but that's not surprising.
