I got into a fender bender and was cited for following too close and I'm required to attend the court date. The cop said the DA might be able to offer me traffic school due to my clean record. Does anyone have experience with this court? I'm more worried about insurance premiums than anything else.

If your insurance company paid out to fix damage to your car or the other car, then the insurance premium will probably go up regardless of traffic school. They already know you have been in an accident. They will consider this one incident, not two.

Really the only thing traffic school/plea bargaining will do is lower your fine and the number of points assessed against your license. It's worth it if you would be close to losing your license with another incident.
