Default How are 17th and 18th streets in Denver?

Hi. I was wondering how the areas around 17th and 18th streets are in downtown Denver. Are they safe? I have only been around the 16th street mall and am more familiar with that street. I am asking because I am thinking of staying at the Midland Lofts on 17th and Glenarm and will have to walk to the parking garage on the intersection of 18th and California.

Anyone familiar with the Midland Lofts or the area around it? Thanks!

This is the heart of the central business district in Denver, which is not an area known to be high crime. You'll be fine there.

This is a bustling area and you will not have any problems. Many professionals in the vicinity.

Is it close to downtown action? A good place for a mid twenties single professional?

It's a great place for a mid 20s professional. I work on 17th and Glenarm. I'm trying to figure out where these lofts are, maybe they are right on 17th? Anyway, great area, smack downtown. Pricier living though than what I'd like to pay for Denver.
