Smile Religious/racial tolerance?

Hi,
My DH & I are thinking of moving to a suburb outside of Denver from So. California. I am more of a "progressive" Christian with a metaphysical bent, and we are a white family also in the process of adopting a child from China.

Are there areas in the 'burbs where we would best "fit in"? Or is any of this even an issue?

Thanks,
Kimmer

Hi Kimmer,

You definitely can find more progressive churches, but they tend to be in Denver. I think the suburbs tend to have more conservative churches, although I'm sure you could find either type of church in either locale.

Thanks for everyone's responses.
I think I found a few acceptable churches that aren't too far from any burb-area.

Des_Demona-
"DH" stands for "Dear Husband"

Also, we're looking at maybe Highlands Ranch area. It looks very family friendly, affordable, and newer. All of which we like. Any comments from those who live there, or around that area?
