Just like airlines, all banks sucks. You may not have a bad experience with one, but you will with another.

Personally, I am with Wells Fargo (though technically I'm still with Wachovia as my accts were opened on the east coast and they convert based on where they were opened, not where you currently live). IIRC, I started with First Pennsylvania Bank about 25 years ago, and 7 buyouts/mergers later, this is where I wound up. Inertia.

Loved WaMu but after Chase took over WaMu all of it started to roll down hill. Start this month they are starting to charge monthly fees on their free checking accounts.

Bad service + monthly fees = Screw Chase! I closed all of my accounts with them.

Keybank was doing a promotion and pay out a nice sign-up bounce so I am trying them on right now. So far so good. True free checking, nice people, and professional folks.
