Westminster is a big place. It would help if you tell us where it is; and if it has a website address.

I have been up and down this section of Federal many times. I live in Adams County and the nearest County Clerk Office in near here, at 84th and Federal. St. Anthony North Hospital is just east on 84th.

I have never been in this complex so I do not know the specifics, but I am very surprised at the low prices for the condos in this development.

The area up and down federal around this area, I would not consider the very best neighborhood. However, I would not consider it the worse, or near worse or severely crime ridden. It is surrounded by more costly homes to the west and north. It has some older homes and there have been newer condos built over the years. It tends to get better when you go closer to 92nd. The shopping for this area would be best at this area at 104th and Federal and going east to the redeveloped Northglenn Mall area between. Melody and I-25.

It is in the near the Hyland Hills Recreation District Water World which shares access and facilities with the City of Westminster.

South of I-36 is a neighborhood in transition because Westminster is putting money in development in the original old area of the city near 72nd. You will see new commercial development as well as new condo development. It is a mixed neighborhood with many hispanics and new Asian Immigrants and has stores and shopping catering to this ethnic group. I find the area changing and getting much better. There will be a new commuter rail station near 71st and Lowell.

The real problem on Federal is going south of 72nd. where you go into unicorporated Adams County. There you will find some strip joints. But this will is not near the area you are considering.

I think it is not bad and has amenities close by that is shopping, parks/recreation and near a hospital. I cannot speak on the schools in the area. The only concern I would have is why the price for the property you are looking at is so cheap. I checked it out at REcolorado.com - brought to you by Metrolist Inc.

But cheap does not mean bad--it could be a great investment. Good Luck.

Got the area well rounded in your post

my mom lives near there. The pillar of fire owns the old Westminster College which is now a private school known as Bellview. There are many historic homes in the area, and some amazing views of denver and the mountains from the castle on the property. The area does have a higher crime rate than the rest of Westminster, but overall it is not that bad.
