LOL....reminds me of the small enclave of Falls Church, VA (suburb of DC) where they are masters of running speed traps and other ticket (i.e., revenue) generating schemes. One of the town fathers ran a Volvo dealership and the Falls Church PD use to run around in Volvo squad cars. Can't make this stuff up....only in 'merika.

Don't know of any attorneys for that sort of thing, sorry. Bummer that it happened.

Seems like it might be too small of a town to fight a ticket such as that from what other posters have said. So the officers in Mountain View are serving and protecting the city's bank account, good to know next time I am driving through there. I've heard the same about Greenwood Village.

I think I'd go with the poster that suggested you see if you can just pay the fine (the revenue is what they are after anyway) and try to save your points – whether you lose point or not doesn't matter to them.
