I had an M3 and drove it for 3 winters. I ran Nokian Hakkapeliitta snow tires in the winter. It was just fine in the city. Where it struggled was on steep hills. I replaced it with an Audi S4 and was much happier in the winter. I loved the M3, but it was a terrible car for the mountains in the winter. I think the S4 is a far superior vehicle for Colorado if it is your daily driver.

Hakkas are amazing tires but you'll pay all the money for them. I agree-even with great tires on a RWD vehicle it would be tough in going uphill. Is it strictly city driving??
