Hi all. New to the Denver area and looking for a nice place to take a first date for drinks and maybe some live music. Preferably somewhere midway between Colorado Springs and Denver or on the south side of Denver. Nothing TOO upscale, but not looking for a dive bar either. Thanks for any recommendations.

Bit off topic... butConsider a Colorado alternative...(to dating) worked for me and my kids... we never suffered through dating, just very fun friendships that led us to 'perfect matches' (well... at least near perfect...) never a fret of dating / rejection / false images...just a couple options...(we did them all)

In Castle Rock, there is a nice bar called Maddie's Biergarten. On Friday and Saturday nights they have live music with a nice relaxing vibe.
