One thing about many of us Colorado women is that we invest in a healthy lifestyle rather than investing in "looking" like we have a healthy lifestyle. IE: most women I know have the boobs God gave them, the noses inherited from our parents and the thinner girls get it from being active and eating right rather than sucked out by a tube in a sterile office.

Most of us spend time enjoying ourselves rather than obsessing if a hair is out of place or put enough makeup on to spackle a bathroom. I did that as a teen and look back on it and think how much time I wasted to look good for everyone else and not for me. I don't have to look at me so if I have a "butter-face" oh well at least I am having fun rather than worrying if some random guy thinks I am ugly or not. 30 minutes from shower to out the door and I dig it. More time to do more fun things like hike or walk the dog and take pictures. More time to cook a fabulous (and healthy) dinner instead of stopping at McDonald's or Taco Bell.

And YOU my dear are the reason I am moving out of mini LA, otherwise known as Phoenix. I am suprised the chicks here in "Snottsdale" don't literally melt when the temps hit 120 degrees.

Give me my short, carefree hair, my camping gear (I am a mean campfire cook), my mountain bikes and some tinted sunscreen and I am good to go! They just don't get that here.

The problemo with you, dude is that you are looking in the wrong places to pick up the truly beautiful women in Denver. I used to run distance races in the Denver Valley area and let me tell you, there are no more beautiful women than those healthy, long legged babes running down the street in tank tops and shorts. By mile five of a ten K race, the sweat is starting to stream down the sun tanned backs of their legs and and they are a vision in the morning sun, like a beautiful red rose covered by the morning dew. Women who run 5 and 10 k races are not fat, do not smoke, have beautiful skin and are usually the most healthy females anywhere. Usually at these races it is 50/50 between male and felmale. For me in a 5 k race, I do not mind being passed by some 20 something blond worman in her sweat stained tank top and shorts because as I see it, the scene just got that much better.

Anyone who mentions the guy:girl ratio is looking for an excuse. Denver is no different from any other city out west.

Sadly, and I mean this in a most "appropriate" way, the attitude of being natural via the doc's office is invading the state.

I've never understood the attitude that in order to be considered a woman means you need large and round boobs, a nose that is something akin to Nichole Kidman (just saw a Dr. Phil show today about this) and having the fat sucked out.

I am approaching 40 this year and by golly, I may only be 115 pounds but I have a belly. I always laugh at the part in "Pulp Fiction" where Fabienne says she wants a belly. And I quote:

Butter-face or not, I am woman, hear me roar. I am not a product of a surgeon and in fact I brought this up to my favorite grocery store guy...he's an older gentleman but I loves him. He likes our Colorado lifestyle. He accepts me as I am and even flirts with me. He knows me by name because I emailed their main offices (Kroger) and such.

The men aren't exactly "beautiful" here either but the men that have a good mind are. Many men that are outdoor enthusiasts are much more wrinkled and butter-faced than some of the women.

I am proud to be a Colorado native and feel just fine walking out of my house without makeup and making myself "pretty" for anyone but myself.

Good word, could you see some of the reactions of people if they were to go back a full century? Oh my word. The entire country would be "ugly".

Funny I never once mentioned my personal preferance for females. Nor did I hint that beauty had anything to do with money, knives, or blonde hair[mod cut]. Actually I am NOT into artificial ANYTHING. I try to eat mostly whole foods, I have never dated any women with fake body parts, and I think make-up is a shame for most females.Also waiting hours for anyone to get ready is insane to me. LOL aspiring world traveler right here. I have been to over 9 countries on 3 continents.(Not very many honestly but..)Best females in the americas??? Wow ever been to Mexico,Costa Rica or even Puerto Rico?? Colorado in MY general opinon is below average with quality females.Apparently I am somewhat of a sucker for symetric facial features and a balanced figure. Good luck finding those in tandum around CO guys.

Hi P,

I am not a big fan of the Latin types,they are far from having the symmetrical figures that you relish and most that i have scene in that ultra violent ,dangerous,corrupt and dirty country of Mexico and other of the Latin countries tend to carry [mod cut] .I just love the all-american looks of the gorgeous and natural beauties of Colorado weather they be blonds,brunettes( some even have green and blue eyes)or the rare red heads.I have seen many of them not just DTWN and at the hockey games but throughout the suburbs that we visited.I saw so many gorgeous women whose looks reminded me of a young Stephanie Seymour or young Christie Brinkley that i have dreaming off only 1 thing since and that is to go back.
Beleive me bud count your blessing that you are leaving there!!!!!
