There was a story about the Thornton deputy shooting. During the report, the reporter said something to the effect, "people gathering today in frigid Colorado..." 60 - frigid?

Well, it was cold last week...

I never have watched much national news, but more than once I noticed a reporter who had to go find a patch of snow from which to make a report from Connecticut. When I was needing a shower from mowing the lawn.

Silly Barry. Everybody knows that Colorado is made up of nothing but mountains that start *exactly* at the Kansas border and are constantly fighting off blizzard conditions. As for 60 degree weather....don't make me laugh. Everybody knows Coloradans are born with skis on their feet because there's snow all year 'round.

People think Colorado is like Minnesota cold. They also think it's lush and verdant.

Raise your hand if you drive a beater Subaru/[insert AWD/4WD vehicle here] with a bike rack full of $5500+ mountain bikes.

It is required to smoke two a day if you live here.

My favorite thing is when the Broncos are on nationally and they always show the resorts. They make it seem like we jumped off the slopes and walked into the stadium.

LOL, that always cracks me up too. And I had to move back to Texas because I was only averaging one joint a day.
