Hi,

I'm traveling to Denver for the 1st time and will need a hotel in a safe area and travel time 30 minutes or less (Uber or Lyft) to 17th & Lawrence Street. I'm trying to keep it around $150 or less a night and need to arrive at the office by 8:00 AM Mon - Wed.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Anything you find 80202 in that area with 4.0+ stars on Google will be fine. I'm seeing Crowne Plaza, The Curtis, Magnolia, a Hampton Inn, all sub $150.

Don't stay in anything on Colfax.

I just had a bunch of coworkers come into town, and I had them stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites (Marriott chain). It's a new hotel, so super clean.

It was around 150 a night w/ free breakfast. Lots of good food in the area, and about a 10 min uber to where you need to be.

I had some coworkers in town this week. They stayed at The Curtis and said it was nice.

Traveling to wedding near Denver on Tuesday. Stupidly, we forgot to make reservations. We spent several hours searching. We even tried the Boulder area. Looked at many resorts outside those cities. No luck. Is there a convention in town? Surprised that there is nothing available mid-week. Actually, there was one. It was over $800. a night.

Does anyone have suggestions for any hotels in the area?

What particular area, and how long are you staying for? If it's through the weekend, you are bumping up against people who are visiting for the week of July 4th.

But I have a tough time thinking there are literally no rooms anywhere near Denver, unless you have pretty specific requirements.
