Thank you Jersey Guy! You are one of many who have supported LoHi. I am in the process of searching that area as we speak.

Personally, I can't stand LoHi. The people who seem to live there are the materialistic/pretentious types. Also not very friendly compared to most of the Denver people I meet in other neighborhoods. The whole neighborhood is a giant cliche of white people/hipster/generic gentrification. You'll meet a lot of people who just moved from LA/NYC who act if they are doing the city a favor by moving. You'll also meet a lot of those "entrepreneur" types who believe they are the next Zuck. There aren't a lot of the typical laid back, outdoorsy type of people there.

Recess and Forest Room 5 on a typical weekend is my version of hell.

...That's just my judgmental opinion

Rino, Wash Park, and Highlands are good areas if you want more of a "professional" demographic, but also like people who are more friendly and laid back.

Hey People,

After flying out and surveying the scene for a week I must say, I really enjoyed Denver. However, I took the Manhattan offer due to a number of factors.

I really appreciate the responses.

Maybe Denver is in my future.

Best!

Welll.....since we're on the topic....

How is the dating scene for an educated late 20s woman in Denver? Is there a certain "type" or many options??
