Cool Is Wheaton a nice town?

I'm looking to pick up a bargain condo to live the single lifestyle in the burbs. Parker and Highlands Ranch look nice online (they seem to have good Methodist churches there; the Parker church is brand-new). But, what does anyone think of Wheaton as a town? I'm ready to leave behind the humidity and hurricane zones of Florida in exchange for some Aspen trees (which I also enjoyed when living in Idaho; however Boise, Idaho, no longer has cheap condos). And, the Florida taxes, high condos fees, and special development district fees can quickly drag a single girl to the poorhouse! So is it Wheaton, Parker, or ? ...name a town and I'll look it up.

There is no Wheaton in the great state of Colorado.

There is, however, a Wheaton, Illinois which is very nice, lovely, faith-filled, etc., etc, etc.

Parker's not too shabby, either.

Default does anyone like Parker, CO?

Looking for any comments on Parker, CO, general affordablity and getting to and from the job market, is it a total nightmare to commute? Is there enough to do in Parker without driving to Denver on weekends for entertainment and shopping? Feedback welcome. Thanks!

Parker is an upscale town, expensive houses, but there are some affordable ones. Theres lots of shopping centers...as far as entertainment goes....Theres a few bars...and a theater or two but thats it. The majority of entertainment is in Denver/Aurora general area. also the main road in and out of Parker (Parker Road) Is a nightmare if you will be going to work during the rush hour. There is also E-470 (a toll road) to get you to I-25 fast. Hope this helps...im young so parker is NOT for me.
