I should know the answer to this, but I don't. I need to get an ID card for my son. Normally I'd just go to the Arapahoe/Lima Clerk & Recorder/DMV office, but he needs it this week. They've switched to appointment only, and the earliest appointment is two weeks out.

I don't wanna waste an entire day at the DMV office in northeast Aurora. Can I get it from another county? I'm thinking Bennett may not be as busy.

Yes, you can go to a different county DMV office than where you reside to get a state issued license. I lived in Jefferson county but always went to the Arapahoe office to get my license, address updates, and renewals.

I'll second that. Took my daughter to Pueblo Co to get her driver's permit same day when El Paso Co had a two week wait.
