This is IF Polis gets elected (he says so on his TV ads) but since we are going to be like CA. soon (if not already) expect more of the same.

How much are homeowners going to be asked to "pitch in" for these pie-in-the-sky dreams?

We work and are childless (due to the known costs of raising kids) so we are kind of curious.
No matter how much Polis wants it, it's not gonna happen.

On a related subject, I think it's funny how Walker Stapleton is acting like he single-handedly killed Amendments 66 & 69.

FWIW, this is the absolute worst crop of gubernatorial contenders I've ever seen. They're all idiots.

And the fact that so many people are willing and eager to pay a premium to live in Denver speaks for itself.
Bingo!

I could live anywhere and I chose Denver. My only regret is not moving here earlier in my life. I've been to San Diego a couple of times. Fog/humidity - you can keep it (this comment obviously directed at Best_Coast, not emm74)!

And mine went down $1000 this year. I was flabbergasted when I saw it, but not complaining...

I don't buy this for a second. I don't think there is a single place in the country where someone's property tax would have doubled in a single year unless they took a 200sqft home, leveled it and put a 4000sqft home in it's place.

True. The stupidity shouldn't shock me anymore, but this is a country that made a reality TV star president so who can really say?

Sounds like a personal problem to me.

You’re right. You get it and everyone who likes living here is stupid. It’s inconceivable that others could value things that you do not.

Actually, it IS a personal problem. You have things you don't like about the area where others like those things. That makes it a personal problem.
