Default Best Lakeside Living in Denver?

For middle class type $$ living near the best lakes in the Denver area?

Hopefully also allot of singles, open mindedness and low crime?

If I'm missing out on lakes farther out that's a good contribution too.
Thanks

Marston Lake or Bowles Reservoir in Littleton wouldn't be too shaby. Pull the map down a couple of feet and you'll see what I'm talking about. If you have a boat, you're not far from Chatfield. I wonder what the traffic's like on that reservoir these days.

If you mean Denver proper, I wouldn't know of too many ponds that would fit your description. Stanley Lake up in the Arvada/Westminster area near 86th and Kipling wouldn't be too shaby.

Those are some nice maps over Live View, Standley lake makes me what a larger body of water or river now.
How's Grand Junction for living near the Colorado River?
Thanks McGowdog
