Favorite Denver Mall
With so many options, which one do you think is the best and why. I like Flatirons because it looks so natural and has an "out-of-town" feeling to it. It also has a wide selection of stores so I can always afford something.
Which do you favor?

I guess Flatirons is my favorite too, my wife likes them all. We probably go to the Mills the most, because if we are headed out to Grand Junction, we will stop there for lunch either in the food court or one of the restaurants around and they take a lap to stretch our legs. Its a nice way to break up the 9 hour drive, but we always end up buying something.

I guess mine would be Colorado Mills. {if you go to that link, find the little red A and give your mouse wheel about 5 clicks upward to see a nice view of the mall} That's where we did some Christmas shoppin this last season while with friends from the Morrison area.
Why aren't Westy, Northglenn, and Biggs mentioned? Not around anymore?

Some of these aren't even malls Larimer square and Cherry creek north are more of the Shopping district type and they cater to the more upper class than say park meadows or flatiron which have a variety of stores and department stores. I chose Flatiron as well only because I love it out there. Another is the new mall area in Boulder.

You left out the best mall of them all: Southwest Mall in Southwest Jefferson County, on West Bowles and Wadsworth Southwest Plaza. It must be that this very large mall is not in the yuppie mind.
This is the best mall because it has over 150 stores, good anchors, walkable to the local neighborhoods; a RTD transit site within the mall property; walkable and next to other stores such as Target and King Soopers; walkable to parks--Clement Park and a golf course; walkable to one of the largest Jefferson County Libraries---yes, this mall is the center of a good, clean, safe and upscale suburban neighborhood that has everthing close. ---Yes, this area could be considered a suburban-new-urban village, with good basic shopping. Oh, did I mention all the stores, parks and medical services, up and down Wadsworth, which are accessible by bus. --even my best store, Walmart.
Yet, this area is rarely mentioned--only by me on this forum. If you are new and moving into the area consider this area of Jefferson County---Anybody disagree??? I will take you on. and please leave out the sadness of Columbine.

I could only put in 10 options, otherwise I would have included the other you have all mentioned. Sorry.

I used to shop at this mall when I lived off of Ken Caryl. I believe that if you're shopping in that area and were on the right side of the street, you were in Unincorporated Jeffco and paid the lower tax. Is this still true?
How's Southglenn mall doing? Park Meadows has probably been giving it fits, as the Factory Outlets in Castle Rock. And what about the mall in Aurora? There's yet another mall by Bass Pro. Maybe it's on the list and I don't recognize it. They were still under construction when we went to Bass Pro. I guess that's Northfield Stapleton. Has lots of potential.
