Indoor and outdoor pools, Broomfield Bay water park, hiking trails, WF in Westminster, good schools throughout, small hospital in Bfld, CU Health building another one there, 10-15 min away from Good Sam in Lafayette, probably 30 min to Lutheran Med Center in Wheat Ridge, sometimes 30 min to St. Joes, P/SL, National Jewish in Denver, probably 40 min to UC Health in Aurora. There actually are a few places with 1/2 acre lots.

"To be able to give back e.g to volunteer in the local park" would def be a possibility. I don't know about the block parties, I'd say probably depends on the block. You see people out walking around in good weather.

My kids did gymnastics for Broomfield High for 7 years total (2 kids) so I spent a lot of time there. (OP, I live in Louisville.) It seems to have a great sense of community, lots of traditions at the HS, typical family stuff.

No downtown, but a nice town center with library, parks, city hall. Nice new rec center. Big mall. Festivals.
Thank you, this is useful. My kids doing gymnastics too. How's Louisville working out for you? Possibly to find a good place within the 700k budget?

We love Louisville. Great place to raise a family. It can be pricey, but I think you could find something for $700K. No half acre lots.

You are kidding, right?
It sits on top of I-70.

You can't build a home on top of a freeway!

...excuse me, I was just excited that I saw a home under $700K near Denver with over 1/2 acre...the neighborhood doesn't fit the criteria, of course.

Well, there is a supermarket built over the Mass Pike in Newton, MA.
And, search for “nail houses”.

Haha, thank you for keep searching for 1/2 of an acre for me, appreciate it. But I think I will move to your beautiful area even if there are none of them anyways

I lived in Southeast Denver for many years, so that is the area I am the most familiar with. Holly Hills, University Park and Hampden South are all areas you could check out.

A few areas in the Denver metro area have homes on greenbelts and open space. You'd get most of the benefits of a larger yard with some loss of privacy.

Thank you for your reply. Do you mind to mention those areas? What do you mean by some loss of privacy?
