Tell me about it. I lived in San Diego for nearly 9 years, and it was pretty much the same: "80 degrees and sunny...Except for '97 when we got hit by "El Nino". It rained almost everyday from November thru June...No lie!

What's it your business anyway? Born and raised in Denver (well, Aurora actually). This is my home. Went to ASU for my bachelor's, just graduated, here back home for a few weeks on vacation, then I'll be going to USC, starting this summer for my master's. USC happens to have the best program for what I'm looking for, the other programs I applied to don't even come close, unfortuantely, USC is located in LA. It's only one year though, then I start my life in the real world, finally.

Colorado Springs? I call it the sandbox. Great place to live if you don't care about plant life. Or rain.

I lived in Orange County then and that winter sucked! I actually love the boring weather of coastal SoCal though. We're planning to retire in 20 years in San Diego or Hawaii. Yeah, I'm a total weather wimp!

Ok, I apologize for taking the comment the wrong way. Unfortunately on the internet you don't hear the inflections in peoples' voice. Thanks for the encouragement! I'm thinking once I am done with schooling once and for all, it's Denver or bust! I am sick of moving around, and I'm thinking Denver really is where it's at!

I hear ya. I was born and raised in Michigan, and I hated those "winter weather advisories"! It's going to be 40 below, don't go out unless you have to"..... "We've got 14 inches of snow, and on wednesday there's a cold front from Canada that'll dump another 6-8 inches so be prepared, blah...blah...blah...blah...blah!!! BTW: Oceanside is the bomb!!!

I love Orange County and the beaches (sort of) nearby. Balboa is awesome!!! I love being able to wear flip flops year round. My DH is from there. Maybe we'll go back eventually. For now it's Miami, but if we don't like it, we might want to retire in S. Calif.
