People, people enjoy the beautiful colorado weather. Anyone can find a fault in anyplace to live. Gulf states prone to hurricanes, anything to the east humidity strong storms, tornadoes, floods along the might mississippi, snow storms northeast, crime new york, too much rain in washington, earthquakes in california, cold water beaches, desert too hot and dry.
from what i hear the only reasons people don't like colorado weather is the snow and dry climate, skin problems, etc. or they prefer beaches. Mexico City is like 75 in the day and 55 at night year round because they live near the equator, get it EQUATOR since we don't live near that, we won't have consistent weather, it'll change, but overall I believe Colorado has alot to offer. Since I personally want to live near mountains and experience snow during winter and escape the humidity, i can forgo the beach in Texas to trade for everything else. I don't have altitude problems and skin problems, so what's the big deal.
Denverian I do believe LBear was a little too hard with twisting the facts to fit their needs. Wind Chill and Heat Index are not the same as actual temperatures. If the wind chill is -50°F then get out of the wind, but it the temperature is -50° what can you do, but go inside. Here in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, we have had one snow event in 2004, supposedly it hadn't snowed here since 1853 at least snow enough to accumulate, we had maybe a tornado or two in the last 30 years, but we are not going to tell people hey it snows and they get tornadoes in the valley. Didn't Iowa or Idaho get that freak earthquake awhile back, but people don't say "Oh it quakes in Iowa".

OK EVERYBODY LISTEN UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was told by everyone under the sun that Denver is a very arid dry area. Little humidity. It was friggin humid today!!!!!!!!!!! It wasn't that hot, thank god, but it was muggy! Once you are out of the sauna you get used to it! I know I might be exaggerating this a little bit, but how many more of these surprise humid muggy nasty days are going to sneak up on us this summer? This weather is UNLBEARABLE

According to accuweather, the 90s are coming. Soon you'll be begging for a day like today.

It still has nothing on the midwest. The humidity is so thick you can cut it with a knife.

The dewpoint in Boulder on Monday only made it into the low-mid 50s. I personally only qualify dewpoints over 70 as 'muggy'. Since dewpoints rarely even make it into the 60s here, I think you will be waiting a while to see that happen....

Eat your heart out, the dewpoint in Grand Junction was 9 degrees yesterday, but the high temp was 97. It felt quite comfortable nonetheless, with a nice breeze and single digit humidity.

Yeah, I felt it too. I actually like a little humidity - good for the skin! But it still wasn't anything compared to the eastern half of the country.

You can keep that low humidity in GJ - high temperatures with super-arid conditions give me an instant sore throat and soon-to-follow major sinus problems and congestion that can linger for weeks. No thanks!

It's another humid day today -- the only difference is that yesterday it was muggy and about 78, today bump that up to 88 or higher.
