Default Glendale

What can you tell me about Glendale? Good points and bad points? Any problems with crime there? Good place to live if you have kids?

And, specifically, has anyone heard of Cedar Pointe condos?

There's a Supertarget there - and I think several strip clubs and a big porn shop.

Seriously, it's an odd little city, very small, and completely surrounded by Denver. It has highrise offices, a lot of condos, some new highrise condos that look very nice, but I don't think it has a single house. High traffic area - I just find it odd that it's its own city, rather than just part of Denver. If you're moving to Glendale, your basically just living in urban Denver.

For location, it's near Cherry Creek, easy freeway access, not too far from downtown. Actually, it's a pretty good location. I doubt it's the best place for kids though. I don't know if Glendale has its own schools - probably kids there go to Denver schools. Oh, and there seems to be lots of Russian immigrants in Glendale.

Its also home to Denver's oldest structure. Neat tidbit of local history.

do a quick search on forum for Glendale. You'll find all you are looking for. I wouldn't recommend w/ kids. I think there are closer places that are more neighborhood-y.

It is actually part of Arapahoe County and Cherry Creek School District. I'd imagine some families live there just for that.

Also, I wouldn't worry about the 2 strip clubs and porn shop.

It is kinda a weird little place.
