Is there anyone out there that remembers Lanes Bar on West Colfax back in the early 70's?

Sure do. Just down the road from "The Tap Inn', right? I also remember Eddie Bohn's (the old pro boxer from here) place, the "Pig 'n Whistle". Both gone now, sadly.

Thank You. We Use To Meet There (1972-1975) To Go To Elitch's. My Friend, John Gurtler, Who Was A Member Of The Western State College Frat, Luthsabens And Owned Elitch's, Use To Invite All Of Us For A Free Day At The Park. It Was So Fun! Yep-the old Elitch's rocked! The new one is just lame. I found out yesterday that the "Tap" is still there on W. Colfax!  |

The artwork in Bohn's restuarant was something, wasn't it? Looked like 60's Disney cartoon frescos all over, even the ceiling.
