Default Average Moving Rates?

We're moving soon and still struggling with the rent or buy question. I'm not worried about picking the right location - my instincts tend to be pretty dead on with what we need/want and how a neighborhood will move/fit into our lifestyle (thought I'd let you know before a bunch of people chime in on that ) but there are a lot of other factors in the air, and I HATE MOVING. I abhor the thought of moving twice in a year or two.

I have a good idea of what it's going to cost us to move from MD to CO, but I wonder if anyone has any ideas on how much it costs to move a typical 20k lb load/5bd house locally? (Southern 'burbs/ probably within a 20 mile distance) Having an idea of that would certainly help me determine whether renting is worth it...
