Maybe your husband is taking you to the Peck House in Empire. I hear it's the oldest running Bed and Breakfast in Colorado. Haven't been there for about 5 years. A wonderful chief, the owners have been there for years and it has a great porch. It's also rumored to be haunted. We've stayed there a couple of times and never heard a peep. Darn! kj |

I spent some quality time at a truck stop in Limon one year when the diesel in our car geled on the way to see my sister in Estes. Thats my vote for the #1 romantic spot in Colorado. |
