Yeah either would be good -- you have never seen happier humans than my kids in a dim sum restaurant so maybe we should do that next.

I've actually never had a proper dim sum sitting. I would really love for an experienced person to show me how. My H is finishing out the summer semester, so I could only meet sometime after Aug. 2, which is a Sat., so that day might work. I'll check with him.

We haven't picked a place or date just yet, just the type of food. Dim sum is the name for a Chinese cuisine which involves a wide range of light dishes served alongside Chinese tea. It is usually served in the mornings until noon time at Chinese restaurants and at specialty dim sum eateries where typical dishes are available throughout the day. Dishes come in small portions and may include meat, seafood, and vegetables, as well as desserts and fruit. The items are usually served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate.

I am always up for Dim Sum, we just need to toss out a few dates that work for folks.

Some of the dim sum places in Denver open on the later side (10 or 11 am, I'm referring to SuperStar and Kings Land specifically) and run dim sum til around 3. IME, the freshness and variety of available dishes tends to decrease after about 1 pm.
