Yes, the Hyatt only did happy hour in the bar on the first floor. My citron was $12.00, $3.00 shy of a drink at the new Trump Hotel in Chicago. I think we paid for the view?
My vote is for the 14th, hope Spot can do that, because then my husband can come. If we do the 14th, maybe somewhere on S. Broadway as I haven't been over there in a long time and I guess there are some (fairly) new great spots.

The 14th of March sounds perfect for our next outting and Spot did say that was okay. I listed out some places below on South Broadway and South Lincoln.

Anyone is welcome, just watch for this thread and let us know you are in so we can get the seating right when we arrive. Best to let us know what days and times work for you and we will work a gathering around you.

Nice list! I've been to all except for Sputnik and Irish Rover. I really like the Rover's food specials.
I don't know how much my martini was but yeah, we paid for the view.

I see the day is definitely set for Mar. 14. Hey, that's the Saturday prior to St. Patty's Day. Are there any parades in Denver for St. Patty's Day? Maybe we should do it at the Irish Rover Pub, in keeping in with the St. Patricks Day tradition. I am down to go, will be driving in Friday night, so it has to be on a Saturday!! Keep us posted.
Never mind, I just answered my own question, gotta love Google.
Bellco Credit Union Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade
Here's a thought: I've never been to Denver's parade. How about finding a pub within or along the parade route, mostly Blake St. Maybe meeting up there for the parade and early happy hour combination?

Well the parade is at 10:00 am and it is incredibly large, one of the biggest in the country. All of the pubs along the route and downtown will be jammed all day and night. I even suspect that the Irish Rover will be crowded but at least it is a mile or so out of the core of downtown.
I am game for the Irish Rover and even an early Happy Hour but away from downtown. Toughts anyone else?

Actually, I read somewhere that it's supposedly the 3rd largest in the country. Massive. And ya, everything will be jam packed. Last year we ended up at this spot on E. Colfax, I cannot remember the name, I think it had Pint in the name. Anyway, it wasn't packed, not like downtown.
I'm up for the Rover. And yeah, maybe an earlier one. Trying to do Blake St. will be complete madness. I'm talking hordes of crowds.
