Tea?
Can beer googles be worn at a tea house?
Are you still dieting WTME and trying to avoid booze?
Meade Street Station in the Highlands has been calling us, and tons to eat there or around after.
Atomic on Colfax might serve tea and beer? And a few places to eat around there as well?

How does the saying go? Drink until you want me?
Add: That's understandable, Live. Taking a med or two to be out of pain sounds reasonable to me. Drugs compete with alcohol for the liver and the booze wins... then the meds mess you up.
I'm just allergic to booze. It always makes me break out in socially unacceptable behavior. Either that or I break out in a set of handcuffs.
PSS: Denver, that would probably work best like this: Drinks/Bed/Dinner. Then you can feed your face and not have to worry about the former.

You may even get to see me if you choose a place that I can have my favorite drink of TEA; I may even accept coffee. Bars, happy hours and drinking are just not inviting to me anymore--as I cannot drink alcohol because of all those body altering and mind bending legal DRUGS that I take, to control my pain, which is my lovely constant companion.
Some people get mean when they drink; I am one, who gets extremely happy, and loves everybody, kisses everybody---a real disgusting display.
Maybe that is why nobody wants me because I no longer spend time with people who drink enough who sees me as desirous. and I do not drink now, where I see others the same.

Well then that changes everything! Do you have a favorite TEA hangout in the Highlands or anywhere else? I would love to meet you and gain from your wisdom. I know there are some coffee houses on Tennyson around 44th, just can't think of the names.
If we meet for tea/coffee first, the crowd can then morph into whatever they feel like after - dinner/drinks/bed. We usually end up grabbing a bite to eat.
So, it is your call LiveContent, where do we meet next???

Yep, time to put alcohol to bed.
I really liked Paris on the Platte. Cool vibes, excellent tea/coffee. I wanted to go to House of Commons but I guess they close early. Both in Highlands.
I'm open to a spot with both and food though.

How 'bout the Dushanbe (sp?) Tea House in Boulder? Maybe two or three of us from Boulder County would come!

I like the idea of an inexpensive coffee shop and the tea shop in Boulder to me is just a overpriced luxury.
Maybe we can find some old diner--you know the places we use to go for coffee, to mull over the girl we just drove home who left us with unfilled desires. Or the type of coffee shop where you sat with your crying girl, trying to resolve the problems of your never ending relationship.
Remember the all night place, us guys would go after a evening of drinking and fill up on greasy diner food to fill the void/emptiness of our loneliness. Or the diner, we also stopped by with hopes that the waitress, shapely in that cute white uniform, will this time give us her telephone number; but she is off duty and old "Tilly" is just the gal to make us happy and laugh about life.
Ah, the diners where the owner/cook saw us enter and knew exactly what we would order--"TILLY, PICK UP"!
She would tell, forcefully, at the end of the meal--"you will want a piece of pie"--just made fresh last week, as it glistens, dried out, under the glass counter display.
Of course and "Another Cup of Coffee?"
Yes, that is the place I want to go---cheap food, companionship, a little grease and many memories. Have an idea?? Where are they??? Non of this overpriced yuppie newness, I want a real dive...even, it the tea is a soggy bag in lukewarm water.

Well, let's see. There are the following that come to mind:
The Denver Diner:
denver diners - Google Maps
Davies Chuckwagon
Home - Davie's Chuck Wagon Diner
Tom's Diner on Colfax
Tom's Diner - Northwest - Denver, CO
If these don't sound good, do you have a suggestion?

You guys are going to have to pick the place because I never know, from one day to the other, if I can even move--so I make few plans, as possible. If you have it; if it is close by and convenient, and it is acceptable I may show up. Though, I am not so sure that I want to remove my anonymity. I do not like the ideas of pictures because I am known, famous, infamous, wanted, despised, escaped, suspected, desired, hated---take your pick because all or some or none apply.
