Question Opinions on Todd Creek / Eagle Shadow area?

I recently got a job in Longmont and my wife works in Commerce City. We are looking at the Todd Creek / Eagle Shadow area so we would both have a reasonable commute. Any current residents from this area care to share their opinions? There seem to be a lot of houses for sale although the foreclosure rate is fairly low, so we are wondering if there is something "wrong" that is driving the residents away?

Chris

cja23,

We live in Eagle Shadow, and the biggest things we've found regarding the houses for sale is that people buy an acre or more and don't realize that acreage + house actually requires a lot more work than they anticipated. There have been a few people that we know who sold simply because they didn't want to deal with perpetual yardwork.
