Opinions on neighborhoods in Centennial?
I made our last house-hunting trip last month and focused on the Centennial area. Price range is right for us and we are trying to get into that loop south of Greenwood Village that is affordable, but still in Cherry Creek schools and west of I-25. I had a great feeling about the Homestead neighborhood - just seemed like the neighborhood was a bit more nicely kept up than the Heritage neighborhood just north (not sure if these are the names of the neighborhoods, but mainly I'm thinking of the school boundaries).
I missed visiting the Dry Creek and Willow Creek school areas, but can someone give me an opinion or contrast these neighborhoods/schools? Thanks!

I don't know what neighborhood it was exactly I lived in but I lived there before it was Centennial. (mid - late 90s) and loved it.
I lived off Colorado and Orchard so it was a bit of an established area, close to I-25, south enough to come to Colorado Springs to visit my family and a safe area. I can't tell you about the schools though as I don't have children but my neighbor felt pretty good about her kids in the area.
I loved living off the little green belt and used to walk my dog a lot up towards those nicer neighborhoods in Greenwood Village. Lots of wildlife (had a pair of owls one summer, one who had only one eye), quiet yet close to enough businesses.
Not sure that helps but I really liked it there.

Pretty much every neighborhood in Centennial is decent. Some are older than others, some are newer, but they're all pretty good areas. Willow Creek is a 1980s era (a little out of date, but not dinosaur age either), mature neighorhood in a REALLY good location if you work in the south metro area, not to mention shopping. I'm not as familiar with Dry Creek but that's a good one too. Don't quote me on this, but I believe that some of the neighborhoods in the western part of Centennial (in the part that borders Littleton) might be located in the Arapahoe School district rather than Cherry Creek Schools. Check the district boundaries on their websites.

As far as I know, all the 'Creek' elementary schools districted for CC High are good.

We just moved here last month and decided on Centennial (east of I-25) and absolutely love it here. We don't have any children so I can't be of much help with the schools.
